This is one of the two mandatory fields for Drill Down Scatter PRO (the other being X-Axis). Y-Axis field must contain a column with numeric values for each row. These values will be used to determine the Y-Axis coordinates of data points.

You can choose a summarization method that fits best for your use case, including Sum, Min, Max, Average, and others.

Keep in mind that data points are created based on the category structure in the Categories or Legend fields. If multiple rows have a matching category name, their Y-Axis field values will be aggregated to determine the data point’s placement. 

Adding values to X-Axis and Y-Axis fields without adding column(s) to Categories or Legend fields will result in the visual displaying a single data point that aggregates all values.
