How to Participate in the FP20 Analytics & ZoomCharts Challenge
Follow these steps to register, build your Power BI report, submit your entry, and compete for the ZoomCharts Grand Prize.

Register for the Challenge
- Register using the form above on this page.
- Download the dataset using the "Get the Dataset" button.
- Read the challenge brief in the "The Brief" section to understand the data and requirements.
- Activate your free ZoomCharts Drill Down Visuals Developer License for Power BI. Watch the setup video or follow the step-by-step instructions.
If you have your own Microsoft account: select "See My License" and follow the setup instructions.
If you don’t have a work or school Microsoft account: select "See My Account" to activate a free Microsoft account provided by ZoomCharts exclusively for challenge participants.

Build Your Report in Power BI
- Add your ZoomCharts Developer License to Power BI Desktop.
- Add ZoomCharts visuals from the Power BI visuals library or Microsoft Marketplace.
- Build your report using the challenge dataset.
- Your report must include at least two ZoomCharts Drill Down Visuals on the same page.

Submit Your Challenge Entry
Log in to your account on this page and upload your report in .pbix format for validation.
If your report does not meet all requirements:
You will receive an email explaining what needs to be fixed. You can update your report and submit it again.
Validation timeline:
- Your report will be reviewed within 1-2 business days.
- Once validated, you will receive a Publish to Web link that you can use in your portfolio or share online.
- You will receive personalized feedback within 1-2 business days to help you improve your report.
Note: You may resubmit your entry as many times as needed before the challenge deadline.

PMO Portfolio: From Strategy to Success focuses on using analytics to assess portfolio performance, identify delivery risks and support better strategic decisions. Participants will work with a multi-table dataset containing project information and monthly performance snapshots, covering areas such as schedule and cost variance, milestone delivery, resource capacity, risk exposure and benefit realization. The objective is to determine which projects should be accelerated, recovered, paused or terminated.
The analysis should help tell the story of how data can reveal the patterns, risks, opportunities, and operational drivers behind better decision-making. The best submissions will connect key trends, performance changes, process behavior, and stakeholder outcomes to practical recommendations that a business audience can act on.

Max 15 ptsHow accurate, complete, and meaningful is the data for decision-making?

Total possible score: 45 points. A strong submission should be easy to understand, smooth to explore, and rich enough to support meaningful decisions.
