In this workshop, we’ll work through the FP20 Analytics Challenge 38 dataset together and build a Power BI report focused on emergency operations and patient flow.
The challenge uses the “Code Blue” healthcare dataset to help hospitals understand operational performance, identify pressure points, and support better decision-making. We’ll look at how to turn that into a report that is both easy to follow and useful for real analysis.
During the session, we’ll explore how to:
- track bed and patient flow trends over time
- compare hospital activity and performance variation
- highlight gaps, risks, and inefficiencies in the process
- identify the factors that appear most connected to stronger or weaker outcomes
- use Power BI and ZoomCharts visuals to move from high-level patterns into deeper detail
This session is designed for challenge participants, but it’s also useful for anyone who wants practical experience building healthcare analytics dashboards in Power BI with a real operational dataset.
