Controls whether data point labels display values from the Label field or the Categories field.

• Off: Labels display values from the Label field. If no data has been added to the Label field, labels are not displayed.
• On: Labels display category names from the Categories field. This allows labels to be shown without adding data to the Label field.

When enabled, the Text Label Position setting becomes available, allowing you to control where labels are displayed relative to the marker. Additional label appearance settings are available in the Inside Labels or Outside Labels sections, depending on the selected Text Label Position.

Use Category as Label setting can be customized for individual data point groups. To apply group-specific settings, select a group from the Apply Setting To option. Group-specific settings override the default settings configured in the Data Points section.
