Use the General settings to define the shape and position of the selected shaded area on the chart.
- Area Shape: choose whether the shaded area is displayed as a rectangle or an ellipse.
- Area Start (X-Axis): select where the shaded area begins on the X-axis.
- Area Start Coordinate (X-Axis): enter the X-axis coordinate where the shaded area begins.
- Area Start (Y-Axis): select where the shaded area begins on the Y-axis.
- Area Start Coordinate (Y-Axis): enter the Y-axis coordinate where the shaded area begins.
- Area End (X-Axis): select where the shaded area ends on the X-axis.
- Area End Coordinate (X-Axis): enter the X-axis coordinate where the shaded area ends.
- Area End (Y-Axis): select where the shaded area ends on the Y-axis.
- Area End Coordinate (Y-Axis): enter the Y-axis coordinate where the shaded area ends.
The X-Axis Start Coordinate, Y-Axis Start Coordinate, X-Axis End Coordinate, and Y-Axis End Coordinate settings are available only when their corresponding Start or End setting is set to Value.
