This field must contain the longitude (angular east/west distance from the International Reference Meridian) of each data point. It’s used in conjunction with the Latitude field to identify geographic coordinates and place nodes in their appropriate locations on the map. Longitude is a required field.
Longitude data must be provided as numeric values in DD (decimal degrees) notation. Using Eiffel Tower in Paris, France as an example: if the full geographic coordinates of this object are “48.8584° N, 2.2945° E”, Longitude field should contain “2.2945”.
To ensure the best performance, we recommend that you left-click on the column name in the Data pane and ensure that “Summarization” setting is set to “Don’t summarize” and “Data category” is set to “Longitude” in the Column tools->Properties section of the top ribbon menu.
