This field must contain the latitude (angular north/south distance from the Equator) of each data point. It’s used in conjunction with the Longitude field to identify geographic coordinates and place nodes in their appropriate locations on the map. Latitude is a required field.
Latitude data must be provided as numeric values in DD (decimal degrees) notation. Using Eiffel Tower in Paris, France as an example: if the full geographic coordinates of this object are “48.8584° N, 2.2945° E”, Latitude field should contain “48.8584”.
To ensure the best performance, we recommend that you left-click on the column name in the Data pane and ensure that “Summarization” setting is set to “Don’t summarize” and “Data category” is set to “Latitude” in the Column tools->Properties section of the top ribbon menu.
