Certain map services require providing credit as a part of their license agreement. For example, OpenStreetMap is licensed under ODbL license and requires attribution text to use or distribute their service.
If the tile server does not already contain the necessary license or attribution info within the map, you can use Attribution field to provide text credit to the map service.
