Background Conditional Formatting

This toggle enables conditional formatting for the value label backgrounds. This feature can automatically apply specific formatting rules depending on your chosen conditions (for example, apply green label background for values that exceed a specific target value, and red for those below it).

Once enabled, additional settings will be revealed:

Background Color Mode
Background Lower Color
Background Lower Color Opacity
Background Lower Color Origin¹
Background Lower Color Function^{1, 3}
Background Middle Color Enabled
Background Middle Color²
Background Middle Color Opacity²
Background Middle Color Origin²
Background Middle Color Function^{2, 3}
Background Upper Color
Background Upper Color Opacity
Background Upper Color Origin
Background Upper Color Function³

¹Available if Background Color Mode is Stepped Color.
²Available if the Background Middle Color Enabled toggle is on.
³Available if the Origin setting for the color is This Series.

This setting governs only the ‘background’ part of the value labels. If you wish to configure conditional formatting for the ‘text’ part of the value labels, use Font Conditional Formatting instead.
