The Color field is optional and can be used to apply custom fill colors to categories (slices) using values provided directly from your data.
You can use a column or measure containing colors in the following supported formats:
- HTML color names (for example: red, green, blue)
- Hex codes (for example: #FF0000)
- RGB codes (for example: rgb(255,0,0))
When this field is populated, the visual uses the provided color values instead of the configured fill color settings. As a result, manual Category Colors settings become unavailable.
