Report submitted for FP20 Analytics ZoomCharts Challenge 19 (September 2024). The report was built with the E-commerce KPI Analysis dataset and includes ZoomCharts custom Drill Down PRO visuals for Power BI.
Author's description:
Skincare & Beauty E-Commerce Analysis Report In this report, I conducted an in-depth analysis of a global skincare and beauty e-store's data, focusing on key performance indicators such as profit margins, sales growth, and market performance.
Using Python for data cleaning and preprocessing, I ensured the dataset was ready for accurate analysis. The visualizations were created in Power BI, where I integrated ZoomCharts Drill Down Visuals to allow for interactive, multi-layered exploration of sales and profitability trends.
The report addresses critical business questions, including identifying the most profitable segments, top-selling products, and high-value customer spending patterns from 2020 to 2023. Additionally, it provides insights into profit distribution across global markets, evaluates the effectiveness of past discount strategies, and presents sales and profit trends by market and product category.
This comprehensive report aims to help the e-store meet its annual targets, including achieving a 15% profit margin across all product groups, 20% overall sales growth, and ensuring each market reaches a minimum of $400K in annual sales. Through actionable insights and strategic recommendations, the report supports the company's future growth objectives.
