ZoomCharts custom visuals (excluding Drill Down Map PRO1) are Power BI Certified, which indicates that they meet Microsoft code requirements and security standards. PBI Certified visuals do not access external services and do not send any outgoing HTTP/S or WebSocket requests.
1Drill Down Map PRO is not certified because it can optionally access external resources to support custom tile servers and KML or GeoJSON shape layers if enabled by the user.
Certified visuals can be identified by a yellow checkmark in AppSource web version, blue checkmark in the Get More Visuals menu, and a yellow PBI Certified badge on their AppSource product pages.
ZoomCharts custom visuals do not require any additional access permissions beyond those already provided by Power BI. ZoomCharts visuals do not require any network or system access permissions, and they do not operate outside of the Power BI environment.
No data is stored or externally transmitted by ZoomCharts custom visuals. The visuals can only access data provided by Power BI for the sole purpose of data visualization. ZoomCharts visuals do not have access to the semantic model or the data sources beyond what is already provided to the Power BI report in which they are utilized.
Drill Down Map PRO may access external resources as configured by the user when using online tile servers or images for base layers, and KML/GeoJSON files as custom shape layers.
