Use the Power BI service to create reports directly in your browser.
- Sign in to your Power BI account.
- Open the workspace where you want to create the report.
- Add data to the workspace by selecting Get data.
- Select Files, then choose the location of the file you want to use as your dataset.
- Select Import.
- After the dataset is imported, select View dataset.
- Power BI opens the report editor with a blank canvas and the available report editing tools.
