Solid fill mode means your combo visual will have slices filled with solid color. This setting is selected by default.
Gradient to a derived color - by choosing this setting you will add a radial gradient to Waterfall's columns where outer color of all the slices will be derived from slice fill color
Gradient to a single color - by choosing this setting you will add a radial gradient to Waterfall's columns where gradient color can be selected manually.
