Date Format

Specify the date and time format used in tooltips.

This setting is available when Date Mode is set to Manual.

The format must use Moment.js-compatible date and time formatting tokens.

Token Meaning Example
YYYY Four-digit year 2026
YY Two-digit year 26
M Month without a leading zero 8
MM Month with a leading zero 08
MMM Abbreviated month name Aug
MMMM Full month name August
D Day of the month without a leading zero 8
DD Day of the month with a leading zero 08
ddd Abbreviated weekday name Tue
dddd Full weekday name Tuesday
H / HH Hour in 24-hour format, without or with a leading zero 9 / 09
h / hh Hour in 12-hour format, without or with a leading zero 9 / 09
m / mm Minutes without or with a leading zero 5 / 05
s / ss Seconds without or with a leading zero 7 / 07
A Uppercase AM or PM indicator PM
a Lowercase am or pm indicator pm
Z UTC offset with a colon +03:00
ZZ UTC offset without a colon +0300
X Unix timestamp in seconds 1787060100
x Unix timestamp in milliseconds 1787060100000

Example formats:

  • YYYY-MM-DD produces 2026-08-18.
  • DD.MM.YYYY produces 18.08.2026.
  • MMM D, YYYY produces Aug 18, 2026.
  • YYYY-MM-DD HH:mm produces 2026-08-18 16:35.
  • h:mm A produces 4:35 PM.
  • YYYY-MM-DDTHH:mm:ssZ produces 2026-08-18T16:35:00+03:00.

Formatting tokens are case-sensitive. For example, MM represents the month, while mm represents minutes. Similarly, HH uses the 24-hour clock, while hh uses the 12-hour clock.

To include literal text, enclose it in square brackets. For example, YYYY [at] HH:mm produces 2026 at 16:35. For more information, see the official Moment.js documentation.

Current limitation: The custom format applies to all TimeSeries time units. Separate formats cannot currently be specified for individual drill levels. Therefore, this setting is best suited to reports that use a fixed time granularity.
