Certain map providers require an API key to authenticate the license for external map usage (Azure Maps, Google Maps, Carto, etc.). If your selected map provider requires an API key, you must paste it in this field to use their tile server. You can usually find the required API key in your account on the map provider’s website.

This setting will be displayed if your selected base layer Type is Azure Maps or Custom Map.
