Use the General settings to configure the layout and behavior of category labels on the X-axis.

• Label Orientation – select the orientation of category labels.
• Axis Labels Expand Height¹ – automatically expand the axis height until category labels are fully displayed.
• Wrap Axis Labels – wrap long category labels across multiple lines.
• Axis Height² – set the height reserved for category labels.
• Allow Extended Axis Labels³ – allow category labels to extend beyond their allocated space.
• Max Label Length⁴ – set the maximum length of extended category labels.
• Max Unit Width – set the maximum width of a category.
• Initial Unit Width – set the initial width of a category.

¹Axis Labels Expand Height is available when Label Orientation is Vertical or 45 Degrees.
²Axis Height is available when Axis Labels Expand Height is disabled.
³Allow Extended Axis Labels is available when Label Orientation is Horizontal and Vertical.
⁴Max Label Length is available when Allow Extended Axis Labels is enabled.
