Enable Outline Conditional Formatting to apply colors to a series outline based on its values.

Outline Color Mode

Select how outline colors are applied using the configured color points.

• Solid V Color – apply a single outline color to the entire category when the specified condition is met.
• Solid H Color – apply an outline color only to the portion of the series that meets or exceeds the specified condition.
• Stepped Color – apply discrete outline colors based on the value's position between the configured color points.
• Gradient – create a continuous outline-color transition between the configured color points.
• Color Field – apply outline colors using values from the visual's Color field.

The selected Outline Color Mode determines which value-origin, function, and start-value settings are available.
