The report helps users identify spending trends, compare supplier performance, monitor compliance, evaluate budget pressure, and uncover opportunities to improve procurement efficiency, reduce risk, and support better purchasing decisions.
The report was submitted to the FP20 Analytics ZoomCharts Data Challenge 37 (April-May 2026).
Author’s Description:
Between 2022 and 2024, total procurement spend reached $979.40M against a $1.01B budget, generating $104.27M in realized savings and maintaining a positive budget variance of 8.25%. While financial performance remains strong, operational and governance challenges continue to impact procurement efficiency, with an On-Time Delivery rate of 64.13%, significant invoice backlogs, and high levels of off-contract purchasing.
The analysis revealed that 68.3% of total spend was directed to non-preferred suppliers, increasing compliance risks, supplier concentration exposure, and maverick spending. Additional operational bottlenecks were identified in international Facilities and HR & Training procurement, where delivery delays significantly exceeded company averages.
To address these issues, the report recommends strengthening procurement governance through ERP validation controls, optimizing supplier sourcing strategies, and improving invoice matching and payment processes to reduce delays, disputes, and financial risk.
