Summary

This interactive Power BI report explores the Procurement dataset using ZoomCharts Drill Down custom visuals and native Power BI visuals. It analyzes purchase order activity from 2022 to 2024, highlighting procurement spend, supplier performance, budget versus actuals, savings, delivery timelines, supplier risk, and maverick spend across categories, departments, regions, and suppliers.

The report helps users identify spending trends, compare supplier performance, monitor compliance, evaluate budget pressure, and uncover opportunities to improve procurement efficiency, reduce risk, and support better purchasing decisions.

The report was submitted to the FP20 Analytics ZoomCharts Data Challenge 37 (April-May 2026).

𝗘𝘅𝗲𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘆:
A comprehensive two-page Power BI dashboard designed to transform 5,200+ purchase orders into actionable procurement insights. This report focuses on financial health, operational efficiency, and risk mitigation.

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗙𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 & 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:
• 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄: Visualizes $908.8M in spend and identifies $104.3M in total savings. It highlights category concentration risks, specifically an overreliance on IT Software (32.96% of spend).
• 𝗥𝗶𝘀𝗸 & 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝗲𝗽-𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗲: Tracks critical leakage points, including a 10.8% Maverick Spend rate and a 15.5% Overdue Invoice rate.
• 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆: Pinpoints departmental bottlenecks, identifying Facilities and Legal as having the highest average delivery delays.
• 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗨𝗫: Leverages ZoomCharts for intuitive navigation, allowing stakeholders to drill down from global totals to specific high-risk suppliers such as Atlantic Raw Materials.
