Once I assign a license in Microsoft 365 Admin center, how long does it take until I can use it?
After you assign a license in the Microsoft 365 Admin Centre, the license should be available rather quickly (Microsoft’s FAQ states that it happens within a few minutes. We have notices that in some cases it can take longer).
For the license to work, make sure that you refresh the report:
If you're using the licensed visual in the Power BI Service, refresh the report by hitting F5.
If you're using the licensed visual in the Power BI Desktop, close and reopen it.
If, after you refresh, the license is still not available, wait a while and try again. However, if it takes longer than 24h, please contact Microsoft’s support team.
