Select which shape type will be used for the specific shape layer.
- Built-In Shapes: Apply predefined shapes (Australia, Great Britain, United States, World) that can be selected with the Shapes setting.
- KML: Use an external KML file as the shape layer. Reveals KML URL,KML Style URL, and Style Override settings.
- Geo JSON: Use an external Geo JSON file as the shape layer. Reveals Geo JSON URL setting.
- Node Reach: Circular shapes will be created around nodes that contain data in the Node Reach Radius field; each circle’s radius will be determined by the numerical value in its Node Reach Radius field. Reveals Reach Radius Unit setting.
- Lasso: Use this type if you wish to assign one or multiple shapes created with the Lasso Tool to this shape layer. You can do that by activating the Lasso Tool and right-clicking on a shape to reveal the Edit Shape Details menu. This will allow you to customize Sequence, Min Zoom, and Max Zoom settings for all assigned shapes.
KML and Geo JSON shape layer types and their related settings are not included in the Drill Down Shape Map PRO version of this visual, since they need to reference external resources to work properly. They are available in Drill Down Map PRO and Map PIN versions.
