The inner point of the gradient will use the Base Fill Color or Category X Colors (if applicable) for each slice, but the outer point will use a manually selected color for all slices. This setting can be used to blend the edges of your donut chart into your report’s background, or apply a subtle emboss effect. Here are all the available settings for this fill mode:
