Summary

Report submitted for FP20 Analytics ZoomCharts Challenge, November 2023. The report was built with Tactical Crime Analysis dataset and includes ZoomCharts custom Drill Down PRO visuals for Power BI. 

Author's description:
1. It is found that the primary crimes in London are: • Sexual violence ranks first, accounting for 37.97% of the total. • Anti-social behavior follows at 19.60%. • Offenses related to public order come in third at 7.95%.
2. On the other hand, a significant increase in the crime rate is identified during the year 2022, particularly in January, May, and October. On a daily basis, the overall rise in criminal activity is observed, with Thursdays experiencing the highest incidence and reaching its peak on Sundays.
3. The areas most affected by crimes in London are Westminster and Brixton, located in the city center.
4. Regarding demographic data, the highest crime rate is among males at 70.34%. Within this group, Ethnicity 1 holds the top position at 37.23%.
5. Crimes with the highest resolution rates are sexual violence (70.74%), vehicular crime (73.54%), and public order offenses (73.69%).
