Drill-through setup

If you would like to set up drill-through from ZoomCharts Timeline visual, your drill through fields in your drill through target page must use exactly the same components that were used in your date hierarchy setup. If individual columns were used when building the hierarchy, simply use the fields themselves. However, if hierarchy was used, Power BI will not allow you to use the hierarchy itself into the drill-through fields at the same time:

Instead, you should drag individual hierarchy items one by one:

Here is an example where Year, Quarter and Month have been configured as drill-through fields:

Important: 'Allow drill through when:' should be set to 'Used as category'.

Now, if everything has been set up correctly, there should be a drill-through option in the right-click context menu of the Timeline visual:
