If this toggle is enabled, a tooltip will be displayed when the user hovers over a donut chart slice. The tooltip will display data related to the specific slice (category name and total value, depending on your selected Pie Tooltip Type).

Once this toggle is enabled, Pie Tooltip Type setting will be revealed for further configuration of donut tooltips.
