What file formats are supported?
Spreadsheet Analytics supports various file formats, including Microsoft Excel, Google Spreadsheets, JSON, CSV and TXT. Application also has an API support.

What browsers are supported?
All recent browsers on almost any contemporary device. A detailed list can be found here.

What devices are supported?
Any contemporary device. Starting from a couple-years-old middle-range mobile device (frame rate might be sub 30 on those), up to a newest iPhones, iPads, Android devices. Any laptop with a contemporary OS will work.
Application is fully responsive and supports any almost screen size

Is it secure?
Yes, once you connect your data file application processes your data in the browser ensuring the most demanding security requirements. Your data never leaves your computer. Only when you use the share function data is getting encrypted and sent to ZoomCharts Cloud. Decryption key stays with you and is uniquely used in the share link. Only the person who has the share link is able to decrypt the data from the ZoomCharts Cloud.

How should I format my spreadsheet?
Basic formatting rules:
- 1) by default the first sheet of your excel file will be analysed (or the one with name "Data");
- 2) you may have as many columns as you want - each column will have a separate PieChart by default;
- 3) make sure that the column names are on the first row;
- 4) make sure that data items goes in rows with details in columns;
- 5) dates and numeric values will be automatically recognised and offered for selection in the interactive reporting interface.

How to use the application?

How can I add data to the app?
Launch the app, login, and you will see the "browse button. Browse for your prepared excel file to load data into the app. If you wish to add data in any of the other supported formats, use the "Show advanced data source options" link and choose the format of your liking at the right side of the screen after the app interface appears.

How can I share my interactive report?
Application has a right side menu, open the side panel and the share function can be found there.

How my shared report will look like?
Recepient will click on a link and your shared interactive report will open instantly with all the same filters applied.
Recipient will be able to remove filters and do his/her own data filtering.

Sharing function is available to all pricing plan. If the owner of the report wil have Standard subscription plan active, application will require the receiver to login to see the report. If the owner of the report will have the Premium subscription plan acitvce, then the receiver will not be required to login and will have the report opened instatly.

Can I get a new feature implemented?
If you need a new feature in ZoomCharts, please send your feature request to [email protected]. Once we receive your request, we will evaluate the usefulness and complexity of it. We may then add it to our road map and you will get an estimate of when that feature might be implemented.
