Each data point may display a label to help the user
identify it. By default, labels will display legend group names from the Legend
field or category names from the Categories field (the latter will
take priority if both are present). You can also display custom names in the
labels by adding data to the Label field.
With this setting, you can select the position of labels in
relation to data point markers.
- Inside: The labels will be displayed inside the data point markers. Their appearance can be customized in the Inside Labels section.
- Outside: The labels will be displayed below the data point markers. Their appearance can be customized in the Outside Labels section.
You can select the label location for data point values separately with the Value Label Position setting.
