FacetChart.settings.comments.placementGuidance

This section is defined by the type LinearChartSettingsCommentsPlacementGuidance.

Derivation parameters for the dismissible top-of-chart placement guidance pill (colors are derived from the placement icon accent).

Properties

accentMaxLightness: number
Default value: null

When the accent HSL lightness is above this value, fill/stroke use a remapped accent ({@link accentTargetLightness} / {@link accentMaxSaturation}). null (default) disables remapping.

accentMaxSaturation: number
Default value: 0.7

Max HSL saturation (0..1) when remapping. Default 0.70.

accentTargetLightness: number
Default value: 0.45

Target HSL lightness (0..1) when remapping. Default 0.45.

fillOpacity: number
Default value: 0.1

Fill opacity of the guidance pill (0..1). Default 0.1.

strokeOpacity: number
Default value: 0.25

Stroke opacity of the guidance pill (0..1). Default 0.25.

text: "auto" | "accent" | "white"
Default value: "accent"

Guidance text color strategy:

  • accent (default): opaque icon accent
  • auto: white for purple-leaning accents; light tint for blue-leaning
  • white: always white
textTintBlend: number
Default value: 0.65

When {@link text} is "auto" and the accent is blue-leaning, blend toward white by this amount (0..1). Default 0.65.
