Choose the method in which the Background Lower Color, Background Middle Color (optional), and Background Upper Color are applied to the value label backgrounds.

• Solid H Color: Middle or Upper Color will be applied to the value label background if it exceeds the defined value; all other values will use Lower Color.
• Stepped Color: The background color for each value will be a derivative shade that’s determined by the value’s proximity to the Lower, Middle, or Upper Color value.
• Color Field: The value label background color will be determined by data in the Color field. If a category does not have a defined color in the Color field, Background Color (Series Value Labels) will be used instead.
